I've seen Dinosaurs on a Spaceship and A Town Called Mercy. The first was better than I was expecting! Amy with her own set of flirting companions! This is cool, yes. I watched ‘The Impossible Astronaut’ at a friend’s house yesterday and was checking my phone to see what time I had to leave to get to my family’s house for dinner, so I can’t say I have the most analytical sense of it, but it was fun enough and fairly well directed, so that was nice. Just getting down some thoughts I've had for awhile about series 5 of Doctor Who and putting them here instead of muttering quietly about them in y'all's comment pages.
( characterization and plot devices need to start being a little more interesting )

So I suppose this is a bad time to admit to the internets at large that my childhood was not really defined by Harry Potter. I was never waiting for my Hogwarts letter. I don't feel like I'm at the end of an era. I'll see the movie, but I'm not lining up tonight.
